gLite Release Process

For the gLite Release Process code is installed from the  dcache.org website.

 Hudson is used to install a four node dCache on SL4 and SL5  (SL5 64 bit example) and for OS integration testing. Then

  • automated configuration testing and
  • functional ( G1) tests with automatically installed test client (dcap, dCache SRM client, gridFTP)

will be done.

After passing the tests the gLite testing process following the  Product Team Release Process can start.
