Site reports
PIC
Everything in production OK.
There are two issues impacting non-Tier-1 users.
Hanging xrootd
PIC are a Tier-1, -2 and -3 site. Gerard is in the process of separating the Tier -2, and -3 activity from the Tier-1.
The xrootd problem is affecting ATLAS Tier-3 users. After upgrading the pools to 1.9.5-22, read transfers are getting stuck.
Gerard is trying to get information about which version of ROOT and xrootd library the ATLAS users are using.
Gerard was also able to reproduce the problem with xrdcp: he found that a transfer using a single stream always works and transfers involving multiple streams always fail.
This problem isn't a high-priority for PIC.
NFS
Gerard has abandoned attempting to get the patched kernel working within VirtualBox? and has obtained some real instead.
Gerard wanted to mention that he is planning on upgrading his test instance to a prerelease version of 1.9.10. This is because he's using the patched Linux kernel (based on 2.6.36), which apparently doesn't work with dCache 1.9.9. The prerelease dCache version was supplied by Tigran, as was the modified Linux kernel.
KIT
Everything is fine: nothing to report.
