Site reports
GridKa
Doris reported that everything is fine; nothing to report.
PIC
Gerard reported that things are going fine.
He also mentioned that it looks like the problem reported previously, between a RedHat kernel, is now fixed. The problem appears to be resolved after the latest kernel upgrade from RedHat; this was to linux v2.6.18-238.9.1, which was made available last week. The new kernel is looking promising but the kernel hasn't been in production long enough to be certain.
Gerard also tried some kernels from Jon Bukken (from kernel.org). These were v2.6.31 and v2.6.36. The kernel.org kernels also solved the enstore problem but there were some other compatibility issues that prevented Gerard from using them.
Gerard asked when will the next 1.9.12 be released? Tigran said that 1.9.12 is currently under testing. If the tests pass then he anticipates a release tomorrow.
