Postcards
Up to two minutes (uninterrupted) per person where they can answer two questions:
- What I did last week (since the last meeting),
- What I plan to do in the next week.
No questions until we get through everyone :)
Tanja: Tickets, patches (working on not to do stage if file isn't on tape), learnt magic scripts on updating dCache.org pages and releases.
Al: DataNucleaus? for billing information. There are performance issues; plan to move forward to post code on visualising billing.
Dmitry: Glitch: "existing billing cell shoves data into database in 10k inserts before calling commit. Replace with DataNucleus?, same takes 18 seconds. Problem is DataNucleus? doing commit after each operation. Work on SRM. Now able to run srmLs and see the operation being stored in the ORM layer. Continue testing then do a prereview-review.
Set up enstore system with the Chimera backend. Chimera exported to ~100 nodes. Test is to check encp works fine with Chimera. Working fine. Probably result in a poster session at CHEP. Waiting on Paul for pnfsDump with level-4.
Karsten: away Thursday & Friday & Monday .. working IPv6 list.
Jan: looking into import feature for pool. Began updating dCache.org pages to show 2.0 documentation.
Paul: Friday Monday.
Tigran: 2.0 release. Helping people with running NFS and IO-Zone.
Christian: Back from vacation .. reading emails. Prepared 1.9.12-10 release for EMI -- certificed in EMI and should be released 18th Oct. Some Nagios stuff.
