- What I did last week (since the last meeting),
- What I plan to do in the next week.
No questions until we get through everyone :)
Karsten: committed patches, little bit of reviewing, planning for all-hands.
Daniel: implemented 1/3 of task redirection of failed GET request; implement Milton filter webdav module.
Gene: nothing
Dmitry: preparing for Chimera migration; happening today. Also worked on some other projects. Q: volatile pools --> files end up stick
Paul: missing-files feature.
Patrick: nothing in particular: workshops; EMI work for next set of deliverable.
Christian: ETICS stole my week (+ testbed: installed EMI-2 RC2 versions of dCache)
Antje: stuff on website; played with JavaScript? ...
Tanja: Tickets; new-feature: filter roles for webadmin. Free JavaScript? library, but buggy. Also working on fixing sorting of dates in webdav HTML.
Plans for patch-releases
Should we make a new patch release?
Nothing urgent
Trunk activity
Progress with new features...
Karsten: checking in IPv6 stuff, trying not to break things.
Dmitry: trying to build FHS compliant srmclient.
Workshop: developers
Patrick
Please submit topics: email sent to team mailing-list on possible topics.
Expecting something from Paul and Fermilab. But everyone else, please send in things.
Workshop: developers
Sufficient number of people interested in the dCache basics tutorial.
Afternoon of 17th; done by Xavier and Chris. M. taking existing material from GridKa? school, cut down.
Company will be present: consultant company.
Not enough participants yet; however, expense suggests people will start to register the week before.
Patrick in the process of extending the programme: there are many topics.
Patrick will let people know what people need to do .. still integrating ideas from Dmitry and Al.
No Paul or Patrick next week.
Volatile pools
Dmitry
Simple question: with 1.9.5, the pool is marked lfs=volatile, but the files coming in are being marked sticky. Expected them to be cached.
This came as a surprise to everyone: was expecting these files to be cache-only.
Files were written with SRM.
Check with dccp to see if the file are still sticky.
Issues from [yesterday's Tier-1 meeting]
Very quick.
Issues from EMI
