Agenda

[see box on the right-hand side]

Postcards

Up to two minutes (uninterrupted) per person where they can answer two questions:

  • What I did last week (since the last meeting),
  • What I plan to do in the next week.

No questions until we get through everyone :)

Karsten: Setup logstash/elasticsearch/kibana for SmallFiles?, Creating Daemon Scripts, Tweaking MongoDB, Reviewing Christian's patch

Christian: Working on the review, preparing GridKA machines with 2.10, tickets

Al: NFS issue made rebuilt of test-bed necessary, made experiments with webadmin, created a patch for kpwd with multiple GIDs,

continued testing ReplicaManager, currently blocked by MigrationManager?. Now getting through Wicket documentation for the future WebAdmin?

Dmitry: Tried to upgrade to 2.6, but had to roll back because support for

mounting links was removed. It would be possible to solve this modifying chimera directly. CDF had problems using "lftp" to download files, because .. Working on recursive downloads

Gerd: Investigated a couple of upgraded 3rd party libraries, created some patches, getting back to speed

Plans for patch-releases

Should we make a new patch release?

Trunk activity

Progress with new features...

Dmitry: Support for multiple gids in kpwd.

  • We want to get rid of this proprietary format, so if it is possible we should avoid using it.
  • The patch does not solve the problem at hand anyways

Issues from [FIXME: Add link to yesterday's Tier-1 meeting]

Issues from EGI

New or noteworthy

Outstanding RT Tickets

[This is an auto-generated item. Don't add items here directly]

NFS Ticket about a file being deleted and then refused to be rewritten (8400?) This could be, becuse the root-squash default changed to root-squash from no-root-squash Does writing to a different filename actually works? This could be two unrelated issues.

Review of RB requests

DTNM

Proposed: same time, next week.
