Problematic pools

Reports from CMS and ATLAS with data import or output -- storage setups (one rack) is being problematic. Clients sees either ?? or time-out . Xavier hasn't found anything other possible cause. Storage provide (DDN) says no evidence for a problem in their system.

Do the pools have the same number of files? Not always.

400,000 18 hours to initialise -- about 6 seconds per file (on average).

Is the problematic pool mounting DDN using GPFS? Yes.
