  • What I did last week (since the last meeting),
  • What I plan to do in the next week.

No questions until we get through everyone :)

Tigran: NFS issues from user forum and rt

Al: Reworking Alarms system, testing and debugging, patches will be posted after vacation

Gerd: Refactoring, praparing NDGF All-Hands, CERN Resource committee, upgraded to 2.10, had a small issue

Paul: Worked on Solaris package, mostly working on release process, some reviewing and background stuff (security, delegaten, oauth2)

Plans for patch-releases

Should we make a new patch release?

Rleased yesterday. There still is a pull request from Tigran that is still outstanding

Got eMail asking about a definitive guide to upgrade vom 2.6 to 2.10

Solaris packages

are being in the process of being fixed. Currently there is a problem ftp-ing the files Probably they will be ready next week

Trunk activity

Progress with new features...

Brazilian CA

Some sites have problems will certificates from Brazil. Offered them to try with DESY storage and debug the issue.

jGlobus

Could we have a new dCache build of jGlobus? Yes.

Serilisation

We have test running with Gerd's serialisation patches, but they are still not included in dCache. We don't really see much performance increase with these, the time hogs are others.

Issues from [FIXME: Add link to yesterday's Tier-1 meeting]

Fermi: No operational issues, but some questions on how to do things KIT: No dCache related issues

New or noteworthy

NDGF upgraded to 2.10, DESY will follow end of Seoptember

Outstanding RT Tickets

[This is an auto-generated item. Don't add items here directly]

Our pools send IP addresses that the Client cannot use to connect to. Either we disable multipath or we try to come up with something smarter... could use some good ideas.

Review of RB requests

Please have a look at 7193, ... by Gerd

DTNM

Proposed: same time, next week.
