Problem with network equipment; e.g., xrootd doors for LHCb, when the problem

could of the pools dropped of the network. The xrootd door spammed ~60 GiB in a few hours.

That is with 2.13.9.

Xavier to send a few sample lines once ticket: seems to be "Hop count exceeds 30".

email problems

Email was sent this morning at 09:04.

xrootd and closed files

issues with ATLAS and xrootd, might be related with network issues.

Frequent error; client closed the connection to the file without.

For 2--3 files, this was such a big error the xrootd door started to spam the log file. After this time, it recovered.

Xavier to send details once the issue with the ticketing system is fixed.

SQL for removing tags

Migration to 2.16 instance today, after this Tigran will have time to investigate this.

Nearline SPI

Still not working; Tigran checked, should be fine now. He's sending a link pointing to the documentation as part of the existing support ticket.


Upgrade to 2.13.35 in order to solve the NFS issue. After this everything is working well.

Upgrade production to 2.16 in November/December?.

One pool had a problem. Directory /var/lib/dcache "dcache status" was failing line
