Site reports

Everything running just fine.

Nothing new, only the existing issues on which Tigran and Paul have no progress to report.

Iris reported that she has just set up a testbed running 1.9.0-25 to exercise the convert from PNFS to Chimera.

Initial results with some very small data were encouraging.

She hopes to have the conversion completed by the end of the week.

Once the dCache instance is running Chimera, what next? Update directly to the latest dCache.

Tigran said to check whether the pools use BerkleyDB or file for storing metadata. The BerkeleyDB option will require some schema migration, which may require some tools that are not present in the latest versions of dCache.

Perhaps the safest bet is to jump from golden release to the next golden release.

Iris is also trying to understand tape area space token: the accounting didn't seem to make sense.

Tigran advised to investigate whether pinned files could be contributing to the unexpected usage.
